Tabel Agada: Leadership impacts lives through action and lifestyle

Every time I scroll through LinkedIn, I always come across Tabel Agada's posts. Her contents are rich, engaging, and educative. You can't help but wonder how Tabel does it. She always has content, not just any content but quality value-giving posts. Even though some posts are promotional, you would be forced to take a look at the person behind the content just like I did.

Tabel has undoubtedly established herself as a ' The Content Prowess', Omote Ro Dhe, amazed by her work and all she stands for, had to catch up with her in a chat to find out what makes her tick and more. She willingly obliged. This showed her friendly disposition and openness to collaborations. There is a lot to learn from her, what she does, her value system, and her personality.

Read excerpts from our chat below:

You have a rich profile. How do you merge all professions? And can you tell us something outside your bio about yourself?

I do not actually have a lot of professions. Everything I do professionally is intertwined in some way so it is easy to balance.

One thing about me that is not on my profile is that I am a singer and music lover.

There is so much content out there. What do you advise to stay ahead of the game as 'The Content Prowess'?

- Always seek to understand your audience and your market - Always keep yourself updated with what is going on in your industry - Never stop learning and unlearning - Find your uniqueness and leverage on it unashamedly

What would you say fuels your creativity, innovation, and ability to adapt to clients’ requests?

God, he is the source of my creativity and strength - I consume a lot of content related to my industry - I expose my mind to a lot of creative and innovative minds and projects

On adapting to clients request, I do not go ahead with the request if is detrimental to my mental health. But if it is not, I find a way to adjust because one of my brand goals is to serve my clients excellently.

In this period of the COVID-19 pandemic, how has it been for you? How has it affected your personal brand?

It actually did affect my brand in a positive way. That was the period I started to take my personal brand seriously and built a business around it.

Everybody is a leader. What does leadership mean to you? And how do you define your success?

To me, leadership is the ability to impact people's lives not just with your words but through your action and lifestyle. I would define success as fulfillment in your purpose

How do you relax?

I see a movie at the cinema, spend quality time with friends or family, music/dance

What is your take on education especially for girls? What is that one skill every girl/woman in today's world should strive to have?

Education is key for personal growth and development and the female gender should not be left out of this. In this age and time, I would say a digital skill. And also refine your natural abilities.

Do you have some projects you are working on currently and can you share them with us?

Yes sure. I am working on an Ebook for anyone who wants to grow their brand/business on social media but does not know what to post. It is a comprehensive go-to guide for anyone who needs content ideas and wants to show up consistently.

Who are some of the women that you look up to and why?

Mehnnn! They are a lot of them oo. If I start to mention names this interview will last for years lol... I will just say every woman who is driven, purposeful, and making waves in their fields is a woman I look up to.

What advice do you have for young women pursuing purpose?

Always stay connected to your God, believe in you and your abilities, and never stop pursuing.
